Researchers and coordinators can register through the app. Administrators are given separate access. When an administrator needs to use the app on someone's behalf, they select that user and enter an impersonation session, after the additional sign-in check.
Accounts are separate between applications. Being an Administrator in lt-core does not automatically make someone an administrator in Strapi. The team lead can confirm which access you need. The exact Editor permissions and the institutional scope of the Coordinator role still need confirmation.
Signing in to the mobile app
The mobile app offers three ways to sign in: an email and password, a one-time code sent to your email, or ORCID. ORCID is the identity service used by researchers. The app offers the methods available for your account; an ORCID sign-in needs a linked account.
With an email code, you open the message, copy the code and return to the app. With ORCID, the app opens a browser for sign-in and brings you back afterwards. A new user completes registration before using their workspace. You do not need a password if your account uses a supported password-free method.
This diagram describes the mobile app. Strapi editors and lt-core administrators use their separately granted accounts for those applications. Ask the team lead for the right access; signing into one application does not sign you into all the others.

A note about administrator access
Only administrators can change the acting context when working on someone else's behalf. This is a support and administration feature. Researchers, coordinators and editors do not need to learn context switching to use their own accounts.
What if the researcher has no account yet?
A coordinator can invite someone as a draft researcher. That person can approve or decline a submitted work through an emailed link. Approval through that link is not the same as registering: a real researcher account and the required connection are needed before final confirmation. Read Researcher for the distinction.
Behind the scenes: automated services
Some actions are performed by software rather than a person. Media processing sends back its results, the website reads published content, and other integrations exchange records. These services have their own limited permissions; they are not additional human roles.
