Publication and Publication Plus

needs verification

Both products explain scientific research through chapters. They differ in production process, shape and number of source papers.

The Core configuration already labels the Publication type “Video Publication”. The brief maps “Expert Video” to Publication Plus, but the public-help source describes a three-chapter introduction resembling Profile Video. This is a contradiction requiring client confirmation. Keep product copy in lt-docs, and use the engineering names here. The glossary supplies the business vocabulary.

See the difference

Publication Plus: open this public example on lt.org. Notice the wide video, named researcher, written summary and links to the original research. Farther down, the citation gives the video its own reference.

Captured from the linked page on 10 September 2026. This illustrates the public presentation of an editorially produced research video.

Publication: use the portrait player demonstration to see the vertical player shape, then follow how a Publication is created for the three-chapter recording journey. A current public Publication URL was not found in the site's navigation or sitemap during this review. The team should supply one; the demo is not labelled as a published Publication.

The portrait showcase, captured 10 September 2026. It demonstrates playback, not a verified public Publication record.

A Profile Video introduces the researcher, requires no paper and is not DOI eligible. It is a separate LT Work type.

For maintainers: source references

These references require repository access. Everything needed to understand this page is explained above.
