Researcher
needs verificationA researcher is the person whose research an LT Work explains. A User is the sign-in account; a Researcher is the associated scientific profile. The profile stores names, biography, Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID) iD, OpenAlex identifier and research areas, with institutions, projects and a profile picture attached through relationships.
A typed ORCID iD is a claim for display and paper discovery. An account linked through ORCID OAuth (an authorization flow) is proof. Typing an identifier does not sign anyone in or satisfy a proof requirement. See ORCID.
A coordinator can create a researcher draft for someone who has no account. That person can approve a submitted work through an emailed link. Approval is not registration: final publication needs a real researcher subject.
For a concrete introduction, open Marta Mrozowska’s public video and choose Researcher in its table of contents. This shows the person and biography behind the research.
The public researcher page gathers a person's LT content on lt.org. Its page design belongs to lt-web, rather than the account settings in the mobile app. This public-page description comes from the curated glossary, where it remains candidate knowledge.
Needs verification
The exact public profile fields and editorial update path need confirmation. A stored account profile is not automatically a published website profile.
